Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Health if her attention has been drawn to the case of a person (details supplied); and the urgent steps her Department is taking to ensure that patients who need treatment under the National Treatment Purchase Fund can avail of it, as in the case of a person (details supplied). Further to Parliamentary Question 1717 of 4th November, I understand that the Deputy continues to be in contact directly with The National Treatment Purchase Fund who have advised him of the most appropriate course of action in this particular case.
