178. Deputy Liam Quaide asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when the report of the review of the 2011 Environmental Impact Assessment (Agriculture) Regulations will be published; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [66239/25]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am fully committed to the review of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) (Agriculture) Regulations and updating this legislation. A public consultation was conducted in respect of the EIA (Agriculture) Regulations. A total of 64 submissions were received and reviewed. Submissions were from statutory agencies, NGOs, farming organisations, farmers, and members of the public. All the submissions received through this consultation are available on my Department’s website.
My Department has reviewed the outcome of the public consultation and next steps are being considered.
