296. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Education and Youth the estimated gross cost of extending State indemnity to all public primary and post-primary schools; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [66810/25]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy department is currently conducting research into insurance practices in schools. This research will consider ways of addressing the cost of school insurance, the drivers of those costs, and related matters. One option to be considered will be the possible extension of the State indemnity.
