Deputy Naoise Ó Muirí asked the Minister for Transport if Irish Rail will develop a coordinated communication response when major disruptions occur; if GPS tracking on DARTs is currently being considered to improve real time tracking on noticeboards; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister of Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding of public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for the planning and development of public transport infrastructure within the Greater Dublin Area (GDA) including, in consultation with Iarnród Éireann, related matters for the DART service.
