Construction: A National Accounts Perspective 2024 was published by the Central Statistics Office in September 2025 and is available here: www.cso.ie/en/releasesandpublications/fp/fp-cnap/constructionanationalaccountsperspective2024/productivity/.

This provides the labour productivity for construction of buildings.

The development of productivity indicators is the policy remit of the Minister for Enterprise Tourism and Employment and the Central Statistics Office.

Delivering Homes, Building Communities, the new National Housing Plan to 2030, contains a range of actions to increase skills and support Modern Methods of Construction building on the initiatives already in place.

Under Delivering Homes, Building Communities, my Department has commenced work on the recent collection of MMC data in the Building Control Management System which will be used to inform future policy. This data is currently undergoing validation and quality assurance processing. Publication of this data will be subject to the completion of these processes.
