Ceisteanna (497)

Ken O'Flynn

Ceist:

The HSE does not produce pay or staffing data in sufficiently granular detail, due to the multiple data systems in place, to calculate the financial implications of individual posts that remain vacant at specific moments in time. The associated cost would exceed the benefit that could be derived from such an enhanced data capture exercise.

The HSE provide a wide range of financial reports to the Department of Health’s Financial Units monthly. These are broadly grouped into the categories of Financial Progress Reports, Management Data Reports and Financial Commentaries.
