1101. Deputy Donna McGettigan asked the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science the total number of apprentices in the State; and the total number of craft apprentices; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [69955/25]
Amharc ar fhreagraAt the end of November, the total apprenticeship population was 31,169. Of this, 25,852 were craft apprentices.This highlights the substantial growth of apprenticeship since 2020, when the overall population was 19,630, of which 17,183 were craft apprentices.
This government remains committed to the growth and development of the apprenticeship system.
