Deputy Emer Currie asked the Minister for Transport the identity of the current leaseholder or owner of a facility (details supplied) located off Park Lane, Dublin Docklands; the date on which the current lease for the facility is due to expire; whether the Department or any agency under its remit plans to renew the lease; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport; however, I am not involved in the day-to-day operations of public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has statutory responsibility for securing the provision of public passenger transport services nationally and for the scheduling and timetabling of these services in conjunction with the relevant transport operators. The National Transport Authority operates one coach park in the Dublin Docklands between 7am and 7pm.
