The Secretary General in my Department is currently on the Secretary General Level III pay scale. The scale attached to the role has not changed in the last two years. There are no proposals to change the scale in the coming period.

As with other pay scales in the Civil Service, which are set by DPER, the Secretary General Level III pay scale has been subject to scheduled increases under the Public Service Agreement 2024 - 2026.

The information in respect of aegis bodies, within the scope of the Deputy’s question, is not held by my Department. Contact details for these bodies are set out in the attached document should the Deputy wish to contact them directly with this query.
