Members of the Permanent Defence Forces (PDF) who undertake Security duties are entitled to claim Security Duty Allowance (SDA).
A proposal to bring the RDF in line with their PDF counterparts has been approved in principle. Consideration of the criteria to be applied, in addition to the mechanism for applying for, and payment of SDA to members of the RDF is at an advanced stage.
