898. Deputy Grace Boland asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation the office rental costs per annum for staff in his Department and for each agency or organisation under his remit, in each of the years between 2015 and 2025, inclusive, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that a deferred reply will be issued to her in respect of this Parliamentary Question, in line with Standing Order 52(1)(b).

The following derred reply was received under Standing Orders.

The office rental costs for my Department and for the bodies under its aegis in the years specified is provided in tabular form in the appendix. This information has been provided by the Office of Public Works which meets these costs on behalf of the Department and the bodies, with one exception, as part of its role in providing office accommodation for the Civil Service. The exception is the Office of the Regulator of the National Lottery, which is responsible for renting its own office space. Please note that the State Laboratory is also a body under the aegis of the Department but there are no rental costs in this regard.
