Deputy Michael Murphy asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration the number of gardaí working in roads policing units on 31 December 2025, by Garda division; the total number that were assigned to roads policing units each month in 2025; the number of transfers, resignations and retirements from roads policing units in 2025; the current number of gardaí in each roads policing unit to date in 2026; if that number includes officers not on active duty; and the number of members who are not currently in active duty in road policing, by roads policing unit.
