154. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage if he or any of his officials have used artificial intelligence to write speeches, produce social media content for his Department, or to issue responses to parliamentary questions, since he took office; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department does not use any artificial intelligence (AI) for the purposes mentioned. My Department, at present, is piloting the use of AI for a limited number of users while finalising an AI framework for the legal, secure and responsible use of artificial intelligence within the Department.
