My Department provides public information about the Department's wide range of schemes, services, and policies, and this includes public information campaigns. Social media is one of the channels that is used to communicate this information. On occasion, my Department runs paid campaigns to reach a larger audience and broaden awareness.
My Department has not paid for the services of influencers on the platforms listed during the period 2016 to 2025.
My Department did not incur expenditure in respect of social media or online platforms in the years 2016 to 2018 inclusive.

Additional paid campaigns in 2023 and 2024 covering forestry promotion and messaging on farm safety and animal welfare resulted in higher costs than other years.
