Deputy Marie Sherlock asked the Minister for Health the actions her Department has undertaken to regulate the parent companies of nursing home operators in Ireland and to bring them under the remit of HIQA which the Minister of State recognised as a systemic flaw in the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health on the 18 June 2025; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
