347. Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration if he will consider important issues relating to the Irish Prison Service, raised in correspondence (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7231/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Deputy will appreciate that the issues raised are operational matters for the Irish Prison Service (IPS) and as Minister I cannot comment on any individual cases the Deputy refers to. I am aware of correspondence on the matter and I am advised that the IPS are communicating directly with the individual concerned in relation to the issues raised.
