626. Deputy Alan Kelly asked the Minister for Culture, Communications and Sport the dates of all face-to-face or online meetings between Sport Ireland and his Department between 2020 and 27 January 2026. [8229/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraThere is regular engagement between my Department and Sport Ireland on a wide range of issues at both operational and governance levels. Engagement at operational levels often include in-person or online meetings, with several such meetings taking place every week at various levels in both organisations. The Department does not maintain a list of all such operational engagements.
In accordance with the Department’s policy on the monitoring of governance arrangements of aegis bodies, Department officials hold formal quarterly oversight liaison meetings with Sport Ireland’s senior management team. These oversight meetings encompass the monitoring of governance and policy matters, deliverables/targets, financial information, key risks, and other key performance indicators. A table listing the dates on which these quarterly oversight liaison meetings were held for the period from 2020 to date is set out hereunder:
