Deputy Peter Roche asked the Minister for Health the formal policy or operational frameworks which currently exist, or are planned, to align the needs-based assessment model used by Children's Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) with the diagnosis-based access criteria used by the education system; whether her Department has assessed, or plans to assess, the impact of this misalignment on access to educational supports for children with identified needs; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
