Deputy Malcolm Byrne asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of staff directly responsible for cybersecurity, as distinct from IT, within his Department; if a threat analyst, vulnerability manager and a cyber infrastructure engineer are employed; if not in-house, if this work is outsourced; and if he will make a statement on the matter. For operational and security reasons, the Department has been advised by the National Cyber Security Centre not to disclose details of the Department's cyber security arrangements. It is not considered appropriate to disclose particular arrangements in place in relation to IT security tools and services.
