302. Deputy Michael Cahill asked the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation when An Post pensioners will receive the rise that is overdue in their pensions (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11493/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraOn 5 February 2026, my Department received a request for my concurrence from the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport in respect of two proposed pension increases under the An Post Scheme. The request is under active review by officials in my Department, along with the report prepared by NewERA, in accordance with the approval process set out in the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies.
Payment of any increase under the scheme, once Ministerial approval has been provided, is a matter for An Post and the Trustees of the scheme.
