448. Deputy Noel McCarthy asked the Minister for Social Protection if his attention has been drawn to delays in securing marriage notification appointments in the Cork area; his Department's plans, if any, to reduce these waiting times; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [11236/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe availability of marriage notifications appointments in a particular area, as referred to by the Deputy, is the responsibility of the registrars employed in the civil registration service of the HSE. The resourcing, funding and operation of this system are matters for the HSE, along with the Department of Health.
