Ceisteanna (1060)

Erin McGreehan

Ceist:

1060. Deputy Erin McGreehan asked the Minister for Health the reason older people in Louth such as a person (details supplied) are being informed that they must hold a medical card in order to receive a public health nurse visit; if she will direct the HSE to end this practice; if she will ensure that older people with significant care needs can access public health nursing services irrespective of medical card status; and if she will provide a breakdown of any other counties where this requirement applies. As this is a service matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
