1174. Deputy Pádraig Rice asked the Minister for Health the steps she is taking to avert industrial action by health care assistants in the HSE home support service in Cork, Clare, Limerick, Kerry and Donegal; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [12396/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am advised that both the HSE and SIPTU are actively engaging to resolve the outstanding issues, and that this engagement is ongoing.
The preservation of industrial peace is essential to safeguarding patient safety and ensuring continuity in the delivery of vital health services.
I urge both sides to continue to engage constructively so that this matter can be brought to an early and satisfactory conclusion in the interests of patients and service users.
