Amharc ar fhreagraThere are 18 agencies, (12 commercial and 5 non-commercial) under the aegis of my Department. As the Deputy may be aware, the Government commissioned an independent review of CEO salaries, which was the first such review in Commercial State Bodies since 2011. The Senior Post Remuneration Committee (SPRC) review was published in March 2025 and recommended salary bands for all Commercial State Bodies. The CEO salary band assigned to each agency is commercially sensitive and therefore confidential.
The Shannon Airport Group is currently recruiting for a new CEO. As part of that process, I have approved the salary, which is within the SPRC recommended parameters and this has been sanctioned by the Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation. For commercial reasons, information on the salary of the new CEO will not be released while the recruitment process is ongoing.
