268. Deputy Marie Sherlock asked the Minister for Defence the State agencies within her Department that have made provision for the pension auto-enrolment payment as part of their allocation to funded organisations; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [14405/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraThere are three bodies under the aegis of my Department; the Army Pensions Board, the Ombudsman for the Defence Forces and the External Oversight Body of the Defence Forces (EOB), which was placed on a statutory basis on 1 December 2024.
I can confirm that the relevant provisions have been put in place for anyone that falls under the auto enrolment scheme. Relevant payment amounts associated with the auto enrolment scheme for members of the agencies under the aegis of my Department are processed through the Department’s payroll financial systems in accordance with the NAERSA requirements.
