Ceist:

591. Deputy Ivana Bacik asked the Minister for Education and Youth if she is aware that an organisation (details supplied) own a building on the same site as a school which they are putting on the market for private sale; and her plans to ensure that it can be used for educational purposes to accommodate the new Gaelcholáiste. [15145/26]

My department does not intend to purchase the building referenced by the Deputy in her enquiry. A plan is already in place to carry out the necessary work within the existing school site in order for the school to transition from an English medium, single sex, post-primary school, to a co-educational Gaelcholáiste commencing in September 2026.
