751. Deputy Thomas Gould asked the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration the number of section 60 licences issued in Cork in 2025, the number of applications made and the longest time from application to approval. [14156/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraI have been advised by the Garda authorities that there were 52 licences issued under Article 60 of S.I No. 191/1963 – Road Traffic (Public Service Vehicles) Regulations, 1963, within the Cork City Garda Division in 2025.
During this period, all completed and valid applications were processed and any incorrect or duplicated applications were returned to Bus Eireann for further clarification.
I am informed by Garda authorities that once a complete and valid application is received, they are processed and the licence issued within 14 days.
