39. Deputy Emer Currie asked the Minister for Transport the number of fleet owners and motor traders who have failed to upload vehicle insurance details to the National Fleet Database as required by law as of November 2023. [15263/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs Minister of State with responsibility for International & Road Transport, Logistics, Rail and Ports, I wish to advise that my Department does not administer the National Fleet Database, which is owned and operated by the Motor Insurers' Bureau of Ireland (MIBI). MIBI is not an agency of the Department and as such I can not provide the information requested. However, MIBI produce an annual report on the operation of IMID, which was recently published for end 2025. The 2025 report is available at www.mibi.ie/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/IMID-Annual-Report-2025-FINAL.pdf.
