Amharc ar fhreagraI propose to take Questions Nos. 46 and 47 together.
The Government is fully committed to supporting the transition to zero-emission transport and the ambitious target to have 30% of private car fleet switched to electric by 2030.
Last year, Ireland surpassed its Climate Action Plan target for 2025, with over 200,000 electric vehicles now registered in Ireland’s roads. This exceeded our initial target of 195,000 by the end of 2025 and highlights the growing demand for EVs in Ireland.
