Deputy Ivana Bacik asked the Minister for Education and Youth further to Parliamentary Question No. 591 of 24 February 2026, in relation to the plan mentioned, if she will supply a timeline for carrying out and completion of the necessary works; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraFurther to Parliamentary Question No.591, in which the Deputy enquired as to the necessary work within the existing school site, I can confirm that officials from my department have visited the school and conducted an assessment of the school's accommodation requirements. The department has appointed a Project Manager to oversee work on the school's accommodation.
It is intended to complete all work relating to the school's accommodation requirements to enable the co-educational Gaelcholáiste to commence operating from September 2026.
