104. Deputy Pa Daly asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment the membership of the Accelerating Renewable Energy taskforce; the dates on which the taskforce has met since its inception, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19642/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Accelerating Renewable Electricity Taskforce (“ARE Taskforce”), comprising some 12 Government Departments and State Agencies, has met regularly since its inception in 2023 to monitor and progress actions.
The Pillars and working groups of the ARE Taskforce meet on a regular basis to deliver on the annual taskforce work programme. In addition, the ARE Taskforce PMO meets with industry representative bodies regularly to allow for engagement to deliver on objectives and associated timelines and address barriers affecting achievement of onshore renewable electricity targets.
The dates of each ARE Taskforce meeting and a breakdown of its membership are included in the attached document.
