256. Deputy Michael Murphy asked the Minister for Education and Youth the reason the NCSE refused full-time SNA support for a pupil (details supplied) in a primary school with ADHD and type 1 diabetes requiring continuous supervision; if she is aware that the current allocation of 0.83 hours per day is insufficient and is resulting in the child missing school time; the reason no formal notification or rationale issued in respect of this decision, including the closure of appeal ticket number; if she will request an urgent review of this case; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
