Deputy Ciarán Ahern asked the Minister for Transport the number of vehicles supported under the electric small public service vehicle grant scheme in each of the years 2024, 2025 and 2026, respectively; the total funding allocated and drawn down in each year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Electric Small Public Service Vehicle Scheme (eSPSV) supports the uptake of EVs in the SPSVs sector (taxis, hackneys, and limousines).
This sector plays an important role in decarbonising the broader transport system and is funded by ZEVI in the Department of Transport and administered by the National Transport Authority (NTA).
