611. Deputy John Paul O'Shea asked the Minister for Social Protection the estimated full year cost of providing companies with fewer than 50 staff with a flat rate PRSI rebate of €12.75 in respect of employees earning €592 per week or less; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [28305/26]

The estimated cost of providing companies with fewer than 50 staff with a flat rate PRSI rebate of €12.75 in respect of employees earning €592 per week or less is €352.8m in a full year.

This estimate does not take into account any possible changes in employer behaviour arising from the introduction of such a rebate.
