Amharc ar fhreagraThe CLÁR programme provides funding under a number of different measures for small-scale infrastructural projects in designated rural areas. On the 10th of March I was delighted to launch the 2026 CLÁR programme with an increased allocation of €12 million. Funding will be provided for community facilities and amenities, community vehicles and specific supports for island communities.
Measure 2 of the CLÁR programme for community vehicles is currently open with a closing date for applications of May 22nd. I can confirm receipt of an application from the organisation referred to by the Deputy.
Following the deadline for receipt of applications, applications will be assessed with the announcement of successful projects due later this year.
