Deputy Barry Ward asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment if his views on the merits of creating a campaign that seeks to encourage employers to allow for increased flexible working practices, particularly in the context of increasing fuel prices; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Government is acutely aware of the pressure people are under in relation to energy costs and my Department is developing a public awareness campaign to address these issues. The campaign aims to build awareness of energy supports and cost management; promote energy efficiency supports and behaviours; and empower people to become informed and proactive energy users.
Communication and engagement with employers on flexible working practices is a matter for my colleague, the Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment.
