Deputy Jennifer Whitmore asked the Minister for Health if she is aware that paramedics and emergency medical technicians do not receive the same level of flat-rate expense allowances as other frontline healthcare professionals, such as nurses, despite carrying out comparable clinical duties and being subject to similar uniform requirements; if her Department would consider reviewing this disparity; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
