The DFHERIS Blended Working Policy was introduced at the end of 2023 and allows staff members to make applications to work remotely for up to three days per week, subject to business needs.

The Department continues to accept applications from all staff members to formalise their blended working arrangements. The current policy provides significant flexibility in relation to attendance in the office.

The Department plans to conduct a review of blended working practices later this year, however there will be no changes to the current policy in the Department during 2026.
