Deputy Micheál Carrigy asked the Minister for Health the reason for the delay in providing a rehabilitation bed at St. Mary’s Mullingar for a person (details supplied); if she is aware that the person was recently transferred to the hospital only to be informed a bed was unavailable; the steps she will take to ensure an immediate transfer to the specialist rehabilitation unit in Mullingar to prevent further physical deterioration; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
