679. Deputy Ged Nash asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage when the Dowth Hall Demesne and National Park will be open to the public; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29571/26]

A Masterplan is currently being finalised, which will outline how Dowth National Park will be operated and managed in the coming years. It is intended that the draft Masterplan will be issued for public consultation later this year. Once the Masterplan is adopted, a phased approach to providing access to the National Park will be put in place.
