I propose to take Questions Nos. 265 and 266 together.

The NSSO is fully committed to ensuring that all monies owed to the State are fully recouped. Engagement is ongoing with those impacted by this review not yet in a payment plan. As standard in cases of pension under-deductions, the NSSO and/or the employer works with the individual to resolve the under-deduction on a case-by-case basis. Impacted individuals can pay back in-full, or they can enter a payment plan agreed with the NSSO.

To date the NSSO has reached agreement with:

• All current Ministers and Ministers of State.

• The majority of the cohort of former Ministers and Ministers of State, office holders and other officers impacted by this review.

The NSSO are working to close out this matter as a priority and will continue to follow-up with impacted individuals to finalise payment plans.

Question No. 266 answered with Question No. 265.
