The Family Resource Programme is administered by Tusla, the Child and Family Agency, and this includes responsibility for distributing core funding to the Programme members. I was very pleased, as part of Budget 2026, to have achieved an increase in programme membership from 126 to 136 members, benefitting communities around the country and honouring the Programme for Government commitment in respect of Family Resource Centres. The Budget 2026 negotiations also secured funding to provide for an increase in minimum core funding to a new base level of €180,000, up from the previous base level of €160,000.
