85. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Climate, Energy and the Environment the number of staff that are currently inactively employed by his Department or any organisation with responsibility to his Department. [32302/26]
Amharc ar fhreagraI can confirm to the Deputy the number of staff that are currently inactively employed by my Department is 30.
The breakdown is:
Sick Leave: 7.
Career Break: 22.
Carers Leave: 1.
In relation to any organisation with responsibility to my Department, the information sought in the Question is an operational matter for each of the agencies concerned and, as such, it is not information held by my Department.
It is suggested that the Deputy contact the agencies directly in relation to this matter. Contact details for each body is set out in the attached document.
