Deputy Barry Heneghan asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality the procedures and inter agency protocols in place between Tusla, the Department of Education and Youth and school authorities in circumstances where allegations of abuse in a school setting (details supplied) have been assessed by Tusla as founded; the safeguards in place to ensure relevant child protection concerns are appropriately communicated to bodies with responsibility for school oversight and safeguarding; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
