I would like to thank the Deputy for raising the question.

The PSI is the statutory regulator for pharmacists and pharmacies under the Pharmacy Act 2007 and operate for public accountability purposes under the aegis of the Minister for Health.

The PSI conducted an SME regulatory impact assessment prior to submission to my Department and also carried out a proportionality assessment as part of the public consultation exercise on proposed changes to the PSI Fees Rules.

For more information relating to this please see PSI's website where the Consultation Report is published.
