I propose to take Questions Nos. 1253, 1254, 1257, 1266, 1268, 1270, 1272, 1275, 1276, 1285, 1293 and 1299 together.

As previously outlined to the Deputy, National Ambulance Service (NAS) key performance indicator (KPI) targets relating to emergency resource dispatch and response, as published in the Health Service Executive's (HSE) National Service Plan (NSP) and based on the HIQA standard, fully align to the Priority Dispatch Standard as published by the regulator for the profession, the Prehospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC).

NAS performance against KPI targets in the NSP is reported on a monthly basis in line with the HSE's Performance Management Framework. The HSE Framework is designed to ensure that delivery of all its healthcare services, including those provided by the NAS, are of the highest quality.

As the specific questions raised by the Deputy relate to day-to-day service and operational matters concerning the dispatch of NAS emergency resources, I have asked the HSE to respond to him directly with any further pertinent information, as soon as possible.

Question No. 1254 answered with Question No. 1253.
