382. Deputy Niamh Smyth asked the Minister for Transport if he will review the case of a person (details supplied); if he will ensure the error on the driving licence in question is corrected; if he will provide an update on the matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [37785/26]

Under the Road Safety Authority Act 2006, the Road Safety Authority (RSA) has statutory responsibility for the National Driver Licence Service.

I have therefore referred the Deputy's question to the RSA for direct reply. I would ask the Deputy to contact my office if a response has not been received within ten days.

A referred reply was forwarded to the Deputy under Standing Orders.
