Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Health if she will provide details of the final catering and restaurant facilities planned for the new National Children's Hospital, including the seating capacity, operating hours and facilities available for parents, overnight families, visitors and staff. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Health the rationale for the scale and design of catering and restaurant facilities at the National Children's Hospital; whether a full-service staff and family restaurant was included in earlier design phases; the reasons for any changes made; and the assessment undertaken of the impact of current catering arrangements on staff wellbeing, patients, and families requiring long-term stays.
