617. Deputy John Connolly asked the Minister for Education and Youth the proportion of primary school students being taught through the medium of Irish; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [39898/26]

I can confirm to the Deputy that, in the 2024/25 school year, 7.96% of primary school pupils nationally were recorded as receiving their education through the medium of Irish.
