Deputy Ken O'Flynn asked the Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment if a sectoral economic assessment has been undertaken regarding the growth of vape and smoke retail outlets within Irish town and city centres over the past five years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The retail sector directly employs over 220,000 people and contributes to the economy of every city, town and village in Ireland.

My Department has not carried out a sectoral economic assessment regarding the growth of vape and smoke retail outlets.
